Honors College Contributing Author
Aysha Fnu is a senior at Rutgers University-Camden pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. In the Honors Seminar on AI, Aysha is focusing on how artificial intelligence could violate and benefit the human rights of vulnerable populations, specifically women, persons with disabilities, and religious minorities. Aspiring to become a physician, Aysha is particularly interested in understanding how technology and ethical policymaking can work together to reduce disparities in healthcare and society. Through this project, Aysha hopes to develop a more comprehensive understanding of how AI policies and technologies can be designed and implemented ethically to promote inclusion, protect human rights, and ensure equitable treatment for all vulnerable populations.
