Dr. Nathan C. Walker joins the AI Trust Summit hosted by the Digital Trust Council and the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.
This working convening of a small group of frontier AI executives, U.S. and international policymakers, and leading scholars of responsible technology will ask:
• What should a trust standard require of the AI systems it certifies?
• What must the institution behind it provide, in independence, governance, and legal force, for its mark to incentivize true accountability?
Together, they will draft the elements of the trust standard; examine legal instruments to incentivize adherence, from fiduciary duties to disclosure and safe harbors; and stress-test the design of the certification itself. Stay tuned!
